Like many places we have been on this trip, we arrive a day or two too early or too late. Here we were a couple of days too early for the annual Longmire Days event.
This small western town was the basis for a series of books by Craig Johnson and now a television series available on Netflix. Longmire Days includes typical fair events such as a Rodeo, a 5k run and a concert. They also have several of the celebrities show up and sign autographs.
One of the events that would not make it in Massachusetts was the Friday night Cowboys vs. Indians softball game.
Fortunately for me, Mrs Ram does not watch this show so we were able to mosey along rather than stand in line in for autographs. Though that Friday night softball game did sound interesting….
